3.  Membership:  In order to become a member of the Doorstep Market you must be willing to pick up your box at your nearest pick up location.  Click here to register for your nearest location (no obligation until you place your first order).  Smith's Nursery is always willing to add new locations.  In order to register your neighborhood or business as a pick up location we require the following:
  a.  Coordinator - One to two people who will make a commitment to communicate with members and be at the designated location each week during the pick up hours (if needed).  Coordinators should provide a cool, clean place for the produce boxes to be kept during the pick up hours. Coordinators must be willing to openly communicate between their location members and Smith's Nursery each week.  Coordinators may also be eligible for a discounted Doorstep Market box.
  b.  Location - This can be a home or garage, neighborhood clubhouse, cul-de-sac, place of business, church or any other location approved by a Homeowner's Association, business or Smith's Nursery.
  c.  Members - Before a neighborhood or business can be registered as a pick up location, a commitment and deposit must be received by at least 10 new members.
Once you have met these requirements you may contact the Doorstep Market Coordinator at doorstepmarket@upickberries.com  or (919) 934-1700 to register your location.

4Delivery:  Boxes will be delivered to your designated location each week for pickup.  Boxes may be picked up at your location during the allotted times.  Members should return all empty boxes and containers from the previous week.  Click HERE for your neighborhood schedule.

5.  Policies:  Empty boxes, bottles and containers should be returned each week.  Members will receive weekly emails that include farm updates, a link to the order form and reminders of the weekly pickup time and locations.  If you decide to skip a week, no problem, when you are ready to place another order simply click on the form and place a new order.  New order forms are created and sent each Monday and are active until 8:00 AM the following Monday.  You  must allow at least 3 days for processing and harvesting.  Late orders may not be processed.  If you have ordered a box but are unable to pick up your produce during the designated time, please have a neighbor or friend pick up the order for you.  Customers are responsible for payment of all confirmed orders if not picked up.
