July 2007
The hot summer days of July bring the need to keep a watchful eye on the garden.
Weeds and insects thrive on heat and humidity.
Here are a few easy tips to remember when using pest controls in the
garden:
-
Do not apply controls of windy days.
- Do not apply controls near waterways or water features.
- Do not allow pets or children to play near freshly applied control
areas.
- It is best to apply controls in the morning, before temperatures rise
above 85 F.
- ALWAYS follow label instructions!
Happy Summer!
