color from the container, plant material or both?

Smaller pots
dry out faster than larger ones.

Choose the
perfect spot for your container and select plants
accordingly:

Sun or
Shade?

Use a potting
soil designed for optimal water retention or use a water
saving product such as Soil Moist.

Under
watering or Over watering is the number one cause for dead
plants!

Choose the
plants for the container - Be Creative!:

Focus -
Decide on at least one plant to be the focal point of the
container...use something tall or with an interesting shape.

Form - Use
different shapes and structures in the container...weeping,
upright, mounding.

Texture -
Select plants with soft leaves, fluffy flowers or pointy
foliage

Flow -
Choose coordinating colors that play well off of each other

Remember that plants will grow and need room to do so.

overcrowd your container for instant impact.
