Fall is
just around the corner and many areas in North Carolina have
received above average rainfall for the year. With the
drought behind us and cool weather ahead, September is the
perfect month to decide on new additions for your landscape.
It is best to plant large trees and shrubs in the fall.
While a plant is dormant it works to establish itself by growing
more roots. This makes for a happy, healthy flush of
growth the following spring.
